Correcting Red Eye

Get the red out!

We’ve all seen it. Those spooky, satanic-looking red eyes that show up even the most angelic subjects in some flash pictures. This phenomenon actually comes from light that reflects off of the retinas in our eyes. It’s red because you are actually seeing the color of the blood vessels that nourish the eye. But enough with the anatomy lesson, here’s how to fix it. We offer a custom tool to remove red-eye from your photos in the set up process of your print job. From the “review photos” page, click on any picture to enlarge it for editing. You’ll see a toolbar just below the image with some icons in it. Click on the big eye in the toolbar. Move the highlight box in the smaller navigator window until it shows the section of the image that needs red-eye adjusting. Then use your mouse in the larger detail window to click on the specific red-eye section of the image until you remove all red-eye in the display.
