AdoramaPix is all about high quality prints, attentive service and the best darn prices around. You know the Adorama name; Adorama Camera has been around for over 25 years, serving the NYC photographic community. Our 18th Street store has it all, selling and renting new and used cameras and every imaginable accessory right down to the frames or portfolios to display your digital photography. When we say everything photographic, we mean it.
AdoramaPix started out as the 1 hour photo lab for Adorama Camera over 10 years ago and quickly became the go-to lab for film processing in New York. Many of our employees have been with us from the start; they’re print experts. They know what makes a great print and they make sure that each and every print that we produce is up to Adorama’s standard of excellence.
An online presence since 2004, we’ve designed our website with the user in mind, offering easy ways for the professional and casual photographer alike to upload, organize, and order the best quality digital photo prints at the best prices.
Into sharing your photos online? AdoramaPix gives you unlimited temporary storage and 3GB of permanent storage on our servers free. You can set up your own online photo albums and share with friends, family or clients.
In the neighborhood? Stop by the store with your digital camera or storage card/chip and use one of our kiosks for the same excellent prints and the same fast, professional service. Simply insert your storage device, and a few touches of the screen later you’ve created gorgeous digital prints, custom greeting cards, scrapbook pages, or calendars. You can color correct, even change images from color to black and white or sepia. You get a receipt, pay for the prints, and pick them up in about 24-48 hours.
Now devoted exclusively to the digital image, AdoramaPix has six Noritsu 34PRO digital printers that are used for all your photos, whether uploaded online, at one of our in-store kiosks, or mailed into us on a CD. These robust printers are designed for professional photofinishers, and we carefully re-calibrate them every morning so the colors are just perfect. Your images are precisely encoded and transmitted using laser technology, then processed on a silver halide paper, just like a traditional photo lab! They’re printed on high quality Kodak and Ilford paper in your choice of finishes. The result? Your photos feel as good as they look.
